Bill Sherman, Fourth Generation Real Estate Professional

 

Bill has had a first-hand view into real estate development and sales since he was just a child. His great-grandfather,Morris Baker, developed the Baker Building downtown and owned The Foshay Tower, but his greatest project was developing a small fishing camp, along with Bill’s grandfather and uncle, into one of the most exclusive private communities in the United States­-- the 2500-acre property in North Key Largo called The Ocean Reef Club (www.oceanreef.com). Bill’s father, David Sherman, was project manager on the construction of the IDS Tower prior to concepting and developing Valleyfair Amusement Park, a Minnesota destination for over 45 years. 

 

While heavily influenced by his family, Bill took his passion for unique destinations and experiences in a slightly different direction, leveraging a proven career in hospitality management to help lead the geographic expansion of several national and regional restaurant brands. Bill was part of the management team for development of The Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar in Las Vegas’ premier Town Square Mall when he met his wife, Tina, which inspired him to relocate back to his home state of Minnesota later that year. Bill went from moving around the country to expand and open restaurants, to holding key roles in sales and operations in the food brokerage, franchise management and commercial cleaning industries. 

 

The roles Bill has held throughout his career have had some common themes – expanding businesses and taking teams in new directions, helping people embrace new experiences and optimizing businesses to run more efficiently while delivering the best customer service and value. Bill’s work with Bridge Realty allows him focus on these things and more, as he guides homeowners in new directions and consults sellers on ways to optimize their selling opportunity.
